About iBodz

Our founder Oliver West, developed the first version of iBodz - your online personal trainer back in 2005. Following a successful re-launch in 2009, it is evolving into what Oliver and co-owner, Mike Longden, believe will be the premier source of health and fitness advice of the future.

Since qualifying as a personal trainer in 2004, Oliver has trained clients of all ages, sizes, abilities and goals, giving him a very broad range of knowledge of health, fitness and weight loss. In addition to his personal training qualification at the highest level, he has certification in Nutrition for Health & Fitness, is a qualified Lifeguard, Bosu trainer and First aider.  Read more about Oliver here>

Mike's background is in e-commerce marketing, brand and customer experience. He began his career in 1994 with the Admiral Group in Cardiff, working on brands such as Admiral, Gladiator and elephant.co.uk - the latter of which he contributed to the start-up and launch in August 2000.  To date he's been responsible for developing the brand strategy of esure.com, working with Michael Winner on the launch of the now cult 'Calm Down Dear... it's only a commercial' advertising campaign.  More recently he devised the brand launch of uSwitch.com - introducing to an unsuspecting public, the uSwitchers - a vision in blue spandex with their mantra of 'Uuuuuu gotta switch'. It wasn't until Summer 2008 that former colleagues, Oliver and Mike decided to get together and take the health and fitness world by storm - and the iBodz you see now is the result. Oliver's responsibilities include the management of the website as well as product development, ensuring the site's content is of the highest quality. Mike is responsible for business, product and brand development whilst ensuring customer service and satisfaction remains at its highest. He will also be training hard during 2009 to become a fully qualified personal trainer.
