Drastic Action

Emotional Freedom Technique

For some reason I didn’t do a blog last week.  I have no idea why but I will blame my awful memory.  So what’s new, what’s happening, what’s going on?

Well…I’m about to have my brain altered by a Witch to stop me eating chocolate!  A woman at work is going to do some EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) on me.  I have no clue what it’s all about other than the fact that she did it on herself 6 weeks ago for a chocolate addiction and hasn’t had any for 6 weeks!  6 weeks people…that’s a lifetime in the “Chocoholic World”.  So I will let you know how it goes in a couple of weeks.

So what else is new?  Well I went back for a second punishing session of circuit training and it’s still as painful as I remember.  I am determined to keep up with it because it’s brilliant cardio exercise and I lose a few ounces just with the sweat.  In weights news, I am focusing on my chest at the moment… been a bit slow in toning up & growth so working them hard.

And finally! Dum dum duuuuuuuuuuuuuuum.  At the beginning of this blog writing saga way back in April, I said that I found push ups to be incredibly difficult and that no one in the entire world could manage 72 push ups.  Well I managed 96 this week, how good is that?  As part of my chest regime I do 4 different types of push ups, 2 sets of max 12. So 2x12x4=96.  I am well chuffed, I even tried to squeeze out 4 more to hit 100 but my body was screaming at me to stop punishing it.

That’s all for now, enjoy your weekend and more next week (assuming I remember).

Mmmmmmm chocolate! I don't

Mmmmmmm chocolate! I don't think I'll ever be able to completely do away with chocolate in my life. But I have drastically cut down on the amount of consumption due to my diet :(.

Oh, another thing I wanted to

Oh, another thing I wanted to say was I am glad to hear you are achieving your goals with the push ups. I am sure you will get to the other goals just as quick. Keep up the good work. You have every right to be proud of yourself.

Sound like a goal well won!

Sound like a goal well won! Good luck on the kicking the chocolate habit. It is quite addictive as well as lovely to taste. I wonder if we could get it certified as a health food?

Healthy Chocolate

I wish!
