OK, time to admit that whilst I was full of good intentions whilst contemplating my program when on holiday, I didn't exactly rush back from the airport to see what my program entailed. But, the time has come that with some trepidation (largely due to my laziness) I finally accessed my program to see what ibodz has in store for me.
I was really relieved to see that it was broken into three parts with the warm ups to ease me in gently before hitting the serious staff followed by a lovely cool down at the end.
I found it really helpful to have a written description with the images just so that you can see exactly what is required in each level. I can see that until I get into the swing of this, I will need to reflect back on the images and descriptions from time to time. Given that I prefer to exercise indoors at home and so I can check the pc from time to time, then this is ideal!
I was really pleased to see some of the exercises that I've enjoyed doing in the past (for example in Davina McCall's Power of Three DVD) and I've surprised myself by looking forward to doing those! That said, there were a couple that made me a bit dubious for two reasons, one being that I had a back injury last year and I am a little nervous about two particular exercises (squat thrusts and dynamic lunge with dumbells), but I'll give it a whirl first (largely because the second reason for me being dubious is that I can be very lazy), but if they can help me tone up then I'm more than happy to give it a whirl!
I'm writing this based on my immediate reflections of checking out my program not having tried it out in full. I admit that I've attempted a couple but given that I am in jeans and bare feet and having had a large Sunday lunch, I'm probably not appropriately equipped to do this justice (particularly the squat thrusts which can be slippy when barefoot on carpet). So, deep breath, this all starts properly on Tuesday afternoon. So, a date, time and location has been set, I'm getting serious. I'll let you know how it goes!
