Post Christmas gulit trip

Hello again everyone!  It's been a long time.  I have had a busy few months with the new house and what needs doing to it coupled with a new job about to start.  It was time I moved on from my last one and I start the new one in a couple of weeks now and want to look good (ish) when I start, so need to lose the few pounds I have put back on over Christmas.  I also need to tone up as I have been sitting watching too much tv.  I luckily have a new programme - Thanks, Oliver xx and intend to swim and walk and maybe even go to the gym in the next week or two.  Happ

Landmark- Hooray!

Brilliant news - I have just bought a new pair of jeans - 'What's brilliant about that, I hear you say- They're a size 12, that's what!  Yes, after a plateau and a struggle, I started to lose weight and continue toning up (an essential when losing weight).  I was a size 16 but not any more.  True I have just given a nice navy suit to a charity shop, but hey!

Going again

Hello, just to let you know that I am back onto it again, and despite a set-back period, putting 1.5lbs back on birthday week, losing 1 lb the following week then not losing, I think I have found that the magic way of doing it is to write down EVERYTHING you eat ion a day! It seems to make a big difference to me to put down whether I have pigged or not.  When I have had a good day with food I can be proud of myself in black and white, as it were. Give it a try and see if it works for you!

Oh, Oh! Birthday weekend

Drat and Blast!  I overdid it last week as it was my birthday and I let it all hang out!  I didn't do my excercises (even though I had worked out the best time etc etc) and I pigged out from about Friday.  Result gained 1.5lbs and am back to where I was 2 weeks ago.  Furthermore I have found it hard to stop 'nibbling'.  I have given myself a good talking to, I can tell you.  I am ashamed and my halo has slipped and I think I am growing horns!  I'll let you know if the talking to worked next week.

Getting more organised

Hello - me again!  Just to let you know that even though it's all looking really so much better now, there are times when you think ' When am I going to fit in my excercise routine?'  Well, I thought, it's only 20-30 mins after all and that can be when I've put dinner on and am waiting for it to cook, and then I'll have really worked up an appetite!  The funny thing is - I cant actually eat as much as I used to.  On weekends fitting excercise in is sometimes more difficult especially if I'm shopping, so I find it easier during the week.  You will find the times when

My new exercise routine is really working!

I am losing weight amazingly easily now, a few pounds a week on average and thanks to the exercises getting back my waist and losing my tum. Only problem being that now all my 'fat' clothes no longer fit me - I should complain! I kept few of my thinner clothes, thinking I would never wear them again but, I need to as a lot of my things are 'hanging off'. Oh it's such a chore having to buy new ones isn't it?

Weight is shifting...

I have lost 12.5lbs in the last weeks now - great and more than a stone since I started. It's not rocket science you know, eat sensibly and exercise regularly. It really works! I am looking for some before and after pictures, although there's still a long way to go.

I'm back on track with my exercise

Hi - Just wanted to tell you I've moved house 3 weeks ago and have been pretty busy- you know, work all day and then home and work some more, and this now includes a garden! I can’t believe how long it's all taking. I have been offline because the phone provider took about 10 days to do their bit, then the Internet lot took their age too. Good news is I have also lost 9.5lbs in the last 5 weeks - Hurray! However, iBodz pre-launch party - which was ab fab means that I have probably undone some of that - but was well worth it - Thanks guys! xx

Attacking my weight

I joined Weight Watchers last Wednesday and found that although I have lost some weight it's not, as I expected, fast enough - so I am deadly serious now. I want a waist back as I am going on holiday in September and don’t want to have to wrap a pareo around the middle all the time to hide my tum!

My man likes the new me

Hi I've managed to do 3 sessions this week and have noticed that things are getting easier - Hurray! Despite lots of chocolate last week, I am feeling tighter and even surprised myself by running upstairs at work today. The man in my life swears my legs are leaner and there's less tummy so that's got to be good eh?
