Exercising with Sore Neck

I woke up this morning with a sore neck and limited range of motion rotating it towards the left. Are there any exercises or stretches to help? Are there any I should avoid today while working out?

Any issues with the neck or spine need to be dealt with by your GP, a chiropractor, osteopath or physio as they will be able to examine it fully and diagnose any issues. In the short term, heat packs will help ease any stiffness while ice packs will help with any pain.
